So pretty. It's like summer love--except it's childhood friendships, which are a lot like summer flings in many cases. Beautiful for that brief moment, only to be swept away by something bigger and better, or driven away by outer forces and distance and the simple fact of life: growing up. The colors convey the meaning well (if I have the correct meaning and I'm not reading too far into this) as does the way the two girls are holding hands, leading and following. Lovely work!!
